Allowed answerphone to kick in, with message that I don't respond to unsolicited calls, or calls from numbers I don't recognise - even when I am at home - but inviting genuine callers to leave a message. The caller didn't respond to the invitation (this happens nine times out of ten) but hung up instead, which I think tells its own tale. This front end is very successful in filtering out the unwanted calls. I recorded my message about two years ago and can heartily recommend it t those similarly affected.
