Bewdley dialling code. They phoned from 01299516624, when I dialled that number, there was an American female recorded voice, which said 'Please phone the new number 07040001234.'

This appeared as a chargable call in my BT Mobile calls list. I was charged 91p for it, but it did not appear in my called number list on my mobile. I did not call this number. Contacted BT and they re-imbursed me.

I misdialled the Cardiff Marriott hotel number and received a recorded message to say the number had changed to that above - the misdialled number was 0292 203 99944 (Marriott's correct number is 0292 039 9944)
I dialled the number and heard the beginning of a rather slow recorded message, suspected something dodgy, and so immediately hung up.
This looks like a deliberate attempt to redirect misdialled calls to a premium number.
Call type: Likely Phishing or Scam
Company: I didn't get any name

I dialed this number on landline and Talk Talk alerted me saying it is a mobile number. So I used my mobile thinking mobile numbers were inclusive to my tariff with O2. The call went straight to recorded music and I hung on waiting for over 30 minutes. I later found out I was charged over £14 for this call that nobody answered. This is a number used by the General Pharmaceutical Council !!! What a scam!
Company: I was calling GPhC
