My home phone rang once, As soon as I picked it up, it had rung off. Did 1471. Spoke to a woman who was with a company I had never heard of. She told me I had an account with them. I queried this asking what it was about. She would not answer my questions. She said they would send me a letter. Assuming they had my name and address I did not give any personal information nor ask how they contacted me, which I should have done. I can't be sure but I THINK a computer picked a random number (mine). I am wondering if it is possible to trace personal info, such as which bank I am with, simply through having my phone number. Until I get their letter I am thinking this is a scam.
