I was too contacted by an Asian man; who I couldn't really understand ! telling me I had a virus & to go on my PC & follow his instructions !! I pretended to go along with this & hence when he asked what my screen looked like .... I sarcastically told him a rainbow !! & he was an A******* if he thought id fall for this scam !!! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO OR BANK DETAILS PLEASE

I was contacted from this number by a cold caller saying that he was calling people in my area and that my computer may be infected with a virus. The Asian gentleman said that his name was 'Danny', I informed him that he was talking rubbish and ended the call. I have had numerous calls from various Asian people saying that I may have downloaded a software program which may contain a virus. They would have then instructed me to a website, they would have gained access to my computer and then asked for payment of which they would ask for my card details. Any calls that I receive where they state ' that I may have downloaded a software program which may contain a virus', I tell them that they are a 'scam' and cut them off. I urge people to do the same - just cut them off, otherwise you may lose all your savings!

I was contacted from this number by a cold caller who insisted my computer was host to undesirable programmes. This is not so. The device is well protected and has just been scanned for any such problems.
