Asian in call office claimed to be BT tech dept - suspicious activity on on BT live service, would have to suspend the connection. Explained I was a fraud investigator and did not use BT He then told me we all use BT - I terminated call!

Definitely a scammer. Asian-sounding male claimed he was calling from BT and needed to investigate a problem or virus on my BT broadband service. Knew my landline phone number and address, but gave fake credentials when I pressed him. (First he was 'Alex Parker', then later on 'Alex Williams')

Unexpected and suspicious call, a recorded message with American female voice saying they had been trying and trying to contact me because my internet IP protocol was being suspended and to press 1 on my telephone handset. Did not say what my internet company is (or / companies are) or my name, just wanted me to Press 1, which I did not of course do. I have had no previous calls from this number and no messages left on telephone answering machine. Very suspicious.
