NEW TYPE OF TELEPHONE SCAM. I received a phone call this morning with a pre-recorded message saying: "This is an important message from BT, your internet service will be terminated from today, press 1 to speak to an adviser, press 2 to speak to a member of the broadband team." DO NOT PRESS ANY OF THE NUMBERS IT'S A TELEPHONE SCAM!!!!! I'm not with BT so sussed it out straight away but those who are with BT may find the call disturbing & press one of those numbers. If BT were going to terminate your internet they would inform you by letter not a phone call. Please share this information with any elderly or vulnerable people who do use BT
