Caller maintained he represented a company subcontracted to Dyson authorised to carry out servicing at a 'special rate' of £25, any parts would be extra. They would be in the area tomorrow. Asking a few questions he had no knowledge of the machine or model, did not know if it was still under warranty, and could not give details of how he had my information. Call from the other side of the country form a number recently activated. Strongly suspicious of a scam. I said no thank you.
