I have now received 2 telephone calls from this tel no purporting to be TPS and stopping nuisance calls from abroad. They are trying to get info and cc details etc. They are obviously from abroad and I would definitely say it is a scam

I was called from this number (verified by 1471) by a representative of a company purporting to offer a nuisance call-barring service. He was very persistent and attempted to obtain details of my BT account.
