I too have had a number of calls from this number. On Wednesday this week I spoke to a gent (use the word loosely) who had my name, quoted my expiry date on my bank card (he was wrong by the way) and I then gave him a bogus one. Then he said my special ID no. was xx-xx-xx under the card name at which point I very rudely told him he was not getting my bank sort code or anything else and told him where to go. I enjoyed scamming the scammer as at that point he had spent probably a good 5 minutes wasting his time on me.

Company: Some tele back up service to stop nuicence calls

This number has been bothering my mother, saying they have been filtering nuisance calls for her, and that after today she will get a lot of calls, as they will stop call filtering. I suspect they were going to ask for money to continue filtering, but the call was ended when my mother who is 85 was having trouble understanding his accent. He was asian. When I have dialled the number it comes back as not recognised. Police have been informed.
