Caller said he was from but openreach. Said our broadband speed was slow. I told him it wasn’t as I have a speed checker, it’s 76 mb/sec, he hung up immediately. Must be a scam.

Called at 1315. Claimed to be BT OpenReach and that my broadband speed was fluctuating due to a fault. In the background was a short looped recording of a noisy office environment. Other random sounds included the passing of two-stroke motorcycle traffic, livestock and the occasional crowing chicken. She asked if I would stand infront of the router whilst describing to her the indicators and colour, I mentioned I'm with Vodafone.... she hung up. Very entertaining.

Asian Male caller rang at 10:05 on the 17th July 2018 saying he was from BT Openworld and advised there was a problem with the Router to my PC. Said that work will be taking place tomorrow and that if the problem was not fixed I would not have a service next week.
