Asian lady called stating she was from company to bar cold calling calls .Quiet concerned she had some of my bank card details also knew my card was due to expire soon ,also knew I paid my Sky by direct debit .RED LIGHTS WARNING DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY DETAILS.

claimed to be from bt openreach. we are with sky. wanted to change settings on router. voice is of indian background. nothing can be done about it as number is spoofed or computer generated. just keep hanging up until they more on to another potential victim unfortunately. bt wont help. police wont help. welcome to the sign of the times.

My husband had a call from this number purporting to be from Talktalk offering a ‘free’ call blocking service but needing to verify our personal details, they had both our names and ‘just needed to verify the expiry date’ on our debit card. My husband put the phone down but they called back immediately so I answered and then discovered they wanted £99 for a BT handset! I ended the call.

Received a call claiming to be from the telephone preference organisation asked had I been receiving nuisance calls and said they wanted to upgrade my call.blocking facilities. Told them not interested and hung up.

Asian lady called - already had some of my credit card details - which was very worrying! Said she was from a call blocking service. I had used a call blocking service through Virgin Media so thought it was genuine. My suspicions were aroused when she started talking about my credit card as the service I was provided with was free. She already knew the expiry date of my credit card. How much more information she had about my card I don't know as I asked her why she needed card information. She then hung up.

Just had a call from this number claiming to be from the telephone preference agency. Promising I will never get any more unwanted calls if I give them all my personal numbers. I told them i was not going to give any personal details to a stranger that phones me. Then disconnected the call and blocked their number.
