Several times a week - and twice today so far (at 3pm), people call here asking for Mr or Mrs Jones. No-one of that name has lived here ever, as far as I know. We have been here for over 20 years. When I have tried to explain this so they can take us off their call list, they just put the phone down on me and the calls carry on. I have just had one of these calls and despite me saying 'Please, just listen to me. Don't put the phone down', that is what he did. I tried to call back to end this increasingly irritating, time-wasting and now distressing occurrence, but the number was not recognised.
