Same as others. Allegedly from BT Openreach (not my provider) about illegal use of my router (someone cloning it, using same password, multiple users on VPN) so they would have to cut me off unless I took certain action on my PC. Told them I would not take any action to someone just calling up - who were they really - and to send me a letter on official headed paper before I would respond. They rang off.

was upstairs when phone rang, they hung up when a/phone picked up, google search suggests bt impersonator (as if bt would use 0116#s!) doubtless trying either to access pc to d/load malware or obtain personal data like card details .... scum, imho

On answering my phone I was left with 30secs. Of silence at the end of which a recorded message "Goodby" I.e. Another juice we call
