None English caller said he was ringing on behalf of BT and said that there was a problem with our internet connection. We have had a similar call a few months ago and contacted BT who said it was a scam. I asked him to tell me my location as he obviously had that information due to the nature of his job. He got that wrong but continued to be very insistent that there was a problem with Facebook and lots of people had been complaining about the problem so he was phoning me about that. Even telling him about the previous call that was a scam he continued....I did,nt!

An Asian voice said he was BT technical and that my ip address was being used for illegal purposes and would I switch on my computer. I was suspicious and used the BT chat-line where I was told that it was a scam
