Indian accent BT scam wants to show us normal errors - tried 24 (yes 24) of our office extensions but I had already warned them about him. Evil little shits!

A man with a strong Indian accent calling himself George Wilson cold called saying that he worked for BT and that somebody was trying to access our household broadband. I told him that BT was not my provider- he said BT ran all the lines. He wanted my to open my laptop and allow him access to check the connection/ users IP addresses. I said no way and put down the phone.
