Number keeps appearing on my calls list when I am out, never leaves a message on answerphone. When at home and I have taken the call, no-one answered. I checked the number as I was curious what was going on. Will now block it on my telephone.

Called this morning stating my Windows computer hadn't updated properly and somebody called Mike Allen in Texas had tried to access it illegally! Wanted me to fire up computer so he could show me the 'errors'! Declined and I hung up!

Asian guy said he was calling about my Windows computer and was that OK - to which I replied no your not, bugger off. We often get calls like this that come up as International with Asian people claiming to be from either Microsoft Technical Department or Windows Technical Support to advise us that we have a virus on our computer. They get the same short thrift.

Totally agree with previous comments. Have nothing to do with these parasites, it's a pity there's not stronger legislation to stop them conning vulnerable people.

Spammer claiming to be from ms support saying some bs about secure servers gone tits up and then after I proceded to tell him that the pc was fine and hung up he called back asking why I hung up
