Keep getting silent phone calls. Looking at other people's experiences, I would suspect that the computer is dialling the number but an operator has not had time to pick up the call at the other end. We have a red BLOCK button on our phone so I'll try that next time.

Called 3 times this week. It's a phishing scam similar to the Microsoft one but their using BT for this effort. The woman is a slope/paki/chink but could also be a nigerian doing an impression, as they do like a scam. If they call again I will attempt to better my record of keeping them on the line for 34 minutes before them swearing at me.

Just had a recorded call saying it was BT about to shut off my internet and to press 1 or 2 of the options, I just put the receiver down.

Been called four times today and a few times throughout the last week. I selected option 1 to rectify fault (the recording claims BT are going to disconnect my broadband) the call went through to an ethnic accented lady who claimed she was working for BT, when she started asking which equipment I use, I queried it. Sounds like an alternate version of the Microsoft scam. I said I don't have broadband with BT, she hung up. Definitely a scam/phishing operation. Number will be blocked now.

I have just had a call they recon to be BT about to shut off my internet giving me 2 options press 1 to keep press 2 to disconnect so put phone down i suspect it's phishing or scam as BT have no reason to cut me off
