Call out of the blue about a window scrappage scheme, claiming to be from Peerless Windows (with whom we are currently dealing) and asking whether we were the property owners, trying to enrol us into a scrappage scheme. As we are already part way through a window replacement project, with Peerless Windows, this call raised a red flag as surely the caller would already know the answers to the questions asked, We are in England (London) and a call from Northern Ireland seems suspicious to say the least.
