Called by male from this number. He said he was from BT. He knew my name and said he wanted to change my mobile contract. I told him to email me but didn't give him any info.

I was contacted by this number on 21st June just after 7pm and the female caller asked for me by my proper name.When i confirmed my name she said that she was from BT and enquired as to how i was.My reply was 'what are you selling?She said that she was not selling anything and that she could save me money on my account that i had with BT and that could i confirm my address.I informed her that i had had scam calls recently and that i was very cautious as to what information i gave over the phone.I then said to her that as she was from BT she new my address and asked her to tell it to me.She replied that she was not allowed to do that so i said 'i tell you what you can e mail me the necessary information.Her reply was of disappointment and i promptly rang off.I rang BT and discovered that the above number is not from them and they do not have offices in the Hull area and that they would not make a call like that.Needless to say i have not had an e mail from BT.
